Although this is a non-contact boxing bootcamp, I’d like to start off by saying “ this is not a cardio boxing class!” Through the techniques of a boxer, you will be given a highly intense, fat burning full body workout in an hour-long class! You will learn and utilize the strength and conditioning behind the best conditioned athletes in the world. Classes are instructor led and peer driven, providing an excellent mixture of individual coaching and group motivation. Workouts are constantly varied and unique, ensuring that you always make progress. We combine technique, bag work, focus mitts, jump rope and footwork drills with bodyweight and plyometric exercises to keep the class intense, fun and highly effective!
Using indoor cycling bikes we focus on endurance and strength, using intervals,
such as a warm up, steady uptempo cadences, sprints and climbs to ensure a high intensity workout in a small group setting. After a 30 minute ride, it's time to lace up the gloves and go round for round heavy bag training, using different drills and combinations to finish out the second half of this action packed hour long class. This is a real calorie burner for the person who is motivated to achieve their personal goals.
Rope N' Abs
This Class is the first of its kind! It is a 50 minute Cardio and Ab blast. Using the jump rope and your core you will build overall strength and endurance while losing weight and tightening that mid section.
The Firicano Boxing and Fitness Center Kids Program combines boxing and sports conditioning training into a fun, safe, action packed 1 hour long class. You can expect your kids to gain confidence, be more focused, develop coordination, and build winning skills for life. The Program is designed for ages 8 – 17.
